STUDIO POLICY

Maximum of 7 people at any time, each additional person incurs a $30 fee.

We have the following rules in place because we want everyone to have the same awesome experience.
 
  • We are no longer allowing high school ‘senior model teams’ in the studios. Individual high school senior portraits are welcome.
  • No food or drink allowed in studios (with exception for ‘cake smash’ sessions. We provide paper towels and cleaning products to clean up any mess.)
  • No confetti, glitter, or baby oil allowed.
  • No open flames, dry ice, sparklers allowed.
  • Please do not walk or jump on the furniture. No jumping on bed! Max seating capacity of bed, and couch is 450lbs; or 2 adults and 2 children.
  • When on the white floor, kindly wear shoe covers or socks when not in the picture.
  • Please use furniture coasters or dollies to move heavier furniture; pushing or shoving without furniture sliders can damage the floors and the furniture legs. Furniture damage, including leg damage, will incur a fee of up to $300. Floor damage and deep scratches will incur a fee of up to $500.
  • Any damages to furniture, props, or backdrops will incur a fee equal to the replacement cost of that item.
  • Place all trash in the trash can when you’re done.
  • If the studio is not reset at the end of the booking, there will be an automatic $25 reset/cleaning fee added to your booking.
  • Guests may cancel their booking until 10 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund of their booking price.
  • Guests may cancel their booking between 10 days and 72 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund of their booking price or at your request, or you can receive a credit to be used for a WEEKDAY booking.
  • Booking cancellations submitted less than 72 hours before the start time are not refundable. However, at your request, you can receive a credit to be used for a WEEKDAY booking.
  • All in house studio credits will be given in the form of a coupon code or gift certificate that can be used within 90 days of your original booking date. 
  • Refund blackout dates: Cancellation of weekend bookings from 10/15-12/15 can be rescheduled with studio credit for weekday bookings in the next 90 days, but are not refundable.
  • Clean Slate optimal lighting is from morning to mid afternoon.
  • Lifestyle optimal lighting is from noon to early evening.
  • We have lighting equipment available in each studio for rent ($20): one AlienBees 400 and one 86″ PLM umbrella w/diffusion cover in Lifestyle Studio, and one Neewer FS300C RGB Continuous Light in Clean Slate studio.
  • We have on camera flash available in each studio for rent ($10): Each studio has a Neewer hot shoe Speedlite flash
  • Pets are not permitted in the studios.
  • Session props such as plants, vases, chairs, boxes, clothing rack, mirrors, and seasonal installations are all included with your studio booking.
  • Reflectors, backdrop stands, and extension cords are available at no charge.
  • Studio lighting, clothes steamers, and full sweeps are available for an additional charge.
  • Loft 18 offers free WiFi to all guests. The username and password is provided in your booking confirmation and posted inside the studios.
  • Public parking is free and can be found all along Main Street or in the public parking lot across the street from the Fortville Post Office.
